Single Beam Echosounders

Echosounders are a great way to map the subsurface of a water body. Single beam varieties of this instrument are a cost-effective way to generate a map of the subsurface through a dataset of point depths taken along a survey track. You can use this type of technology in rivers, lakes, and brine waters such as oceans.

A single beam echosounder is the place to start for a simple and economical way to generate a map of your subsurface. Get one on a preconfigured CHC boat or integrated into your custom build.

D270

The D270 is a cost effective solution designed for integration into a USV. It has an integrated water temperature sensor for real-time sound velocity adjustments based on temperature fluctuations to enhance the accuracy of your survey. measure depths ranging from 0.15m to 200m with this 200kHz transducer

Customers use this device for a range of survey needs from river cross-sections, reservoir capacity estimates, and dredging volume calculations. The D270 has an easy to use web-based configuration to get you going with ease.

D390

The D390 is an integrated, portable echosounder system that can be used stand alone on any water vessel including crewed boats. This 200kHz transducer has a 7 degree beam angle to provide focused directional and lateral resolution for your data. The 12-inch touchscreen lets you control the equipment on the fly using HydroSurvey Software.

The D390 can measure depths from 0.15m up to 300m with high accuracy. The software package can be used for positioning and navigation as well as data acquisition and processing.
